Schedule group-wide events or
personal events The Online Calendar allows you to schedule both group-wide and personal events in one place. The intranet administrator determines who is allowed to schedule group-wide events. You can schedule a group event for all the members of your intranet, or just the members of your choice. Only people who are involved in the event see it on the Calendar and receive reminders about the event. Your personal events are only visible to you. While they do appear on your calendar, other members of your group do not see them. You can tell that they're personal events because they have an icon beside them.

If you want to send a reminder, click the Reminder check box when you're creating a new event or editing an existing event. A reminder will be sent automatically to each event participant.
